We've updated the Transcode API and Music Mastering API.

Transcode API
Improvements

  • Increased the maximum number of inputs from 10 to 25.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes for certain variable frame rate inputs, such as those recorded on iOS devices in certain conditions, where audio and video went out of sync.

Music Mastering API
New features

  • We are introducing the addition of Music Mastering Preview Metrics within the Get Master Preview Results output JSON. These metrics provide information about your input file's media format, loudness, and EQ. Please refer to our How-to understand Music Mastering Preview Metrics guide for more info.

Improvements

  • Pre-embedded MP3 ID3 tag and WAV info metadata are now automatically preserved after a file is processed with the Music Mastering API. We fully support ID3, and ID3v2.x currently has limited support.
  • Content-Type (MIME type) is now automatically set for all outputs for the Music Mastering API when using credential based storage for Azure, Google Storage, and S3 instead of the generic 'application/octet-stream' type. This allows browsers to display files that are natively supported.
